atop the duomo

we climbed up to the top of the duomo last week, but i never posted the pictures ... it was quite the hike, a little claustrophobic on the way up, but absolutely worth it. You actually climb in between the two layers of the dome. Its unreal.

plus it serves as cardio for the day.

our first stop on our hilltown tour,

a tiny tiny little town with one restaurant and church and

a fortified wall around it.

id say the whole town was about 700 ft in diameter.
